There’s something profoundly calming about the gentle dance between the moon and the ocean. Every time I visit the beaches of Sri Lanka, I am struck by their beauty. The way the waves shimmer under the soft glow of the moonlight, the hues of the sky melting into the sea during sunset-it all feels like poetry in motion.
When I began painting this collection, I wanted to evoke not just the visuals of the moonlit ocean but the emotions it stirs-peace, mystery and awe. Which I sought to translate into this collection.
